Wal-Mart extends job rights to gays

NEW YORK, July 2 ? Wal-Mart, the world?s largest retailer and nation?s largest private employer, updated its antidiscrimination policy Wednesday to include gays and lesbians. Sexual orientation will be added to Wal-Mart?s diversity-awareness program, a company spokesperson said.

i don't exactly have the kind of convenience to
support mom 'n pop shops here in conway....
sure, its a rather small town (in comparison
to little rock)... but most of the smaller stores
are those richy 40-something SUV-driving soccer
mom stores....

here's an example.... (for clarification)

there is a toy store up the street (closer to
gravy train than i) which showcases those ritzy
fancy-fancy toys... no RC's and shit like that,
i'm talking about custom built playroom castles
and shit... with little furniture and blah blah
blah to match. hoity-toity shit... if you catch
my drift.

well thats it.... you have those 'small' shops
and wally world... and i guess i'm between a
rock and a hard place... since i don't really
have a choice.... *whimpers*

Am I the only one who supports local businesses.I shop the local deparment stores,hardware stores and such.Being in business,i just know how this bigger is cheaper thing goes and I go out of my way to support the locally owned places even it means paying 10% more.
